"See a Need, Fill a Need."
The Movie That Shaped My Work.
I want to share a small story that quietly shaped the heart of my work.
There’s an animated movie from 2005 called Robots. When my children were little, we watched it over and over again — probably close to fifty times. It featured the voices of Ewan McGregor, Robin Williams, and Halle Berry, and it tells the story of a young inventor who moves to the big city to meet his hero.
In the movie, that hero shares two simple lines that have stayed with me all these years.
The first one is:
“See a need, fill a need.”
When I first heard it, it just sounded sweet — a nice line from a children’s movie.
But over time, it became something more personal.
As a mental health and wellness coach, I started noticing something. There are people who quietly carry enormous emotional weight.
They are strong.
They are capable.
They are loving.
But they are also tired. Overwhelmed. And sometimes unsure where to turn.
They don’t always need therapy.
But they absolutely need support.
And too often, that kind of steady, structured, practical support is hard to find.
So I chose to fill that need.
The second quote from the movie says:
“You can shine, no matter what you’re made of.”
To me, that’s the heart of coaching.
Unlike therapy, which often focuses on unpacking the past, coaching gently looks forward. It asks, “What can we build from here?” It focuses on clarity, confidence, emotional balance, and aligned action — no matter what you’ve been through before.
Your past doesn’t define your future.
Your current situation doesn’t limit your potential.
You still have the ability to grow.
You still have the ability to change.
And you still have the ability to shine.
That belief guides everything I do at ME Wellness Coaching.
If you’re moving through a tough time and you want support that feels steady, compassionate, and practical — you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m here to work with you.
